You may have noticed that we’re not really on tour yet. Don’t get hung up on that, there’s still plenty of pre-tour madness and mayhem to go around. For instance: just yesterday, Misha and I bought some velcro and quarter inch particle board. And the day before that, we went to the guitar store to buy some more picks. Today we might buy a mic stand and some blank tapes.
Basically, being in a band is a lot like being in a rural marriage with six children and no friends just before the winter holidays. You’re always buying “presents” for your guitars, which never give you anything in return but grief, callouses, colic and grey hairs.
But all that is about to change. Soon the guitars will be buying us presents.
